I've discovered a neat parallel, appropriate for my first post.
Ten years ago today, I began work as a zookeeper -- at the time, my dream job.
Three days ago this year, I mailed my very first author contract to an actual publisher.
Now, on to polishing my two novels so I have new, bigger stuff to shop!
